how so?

supposedly their inner spirit chooses this for them before they are born to help save their wicked side maybe represented by chiron..not sure
some believe that in this lifetime, karma will do its course, whether you feel it now, or it will come later, some believe that if you had a hard life in this lifetime then you must have been a bad person in your past life, so to correct this you either counteract that negative karma by doing good and maybe just maybe later in your life you will be rewarded.
Karma is not really about whats good and whats bad, this is all subjective, Karma is about justice and balance, if you steal something, someone will steal from you, if you hurt someone, then someone will hurt you back, if you are generous, then someone will be generous to you.
it doesnt have to teach anything, Karma is not a teacher, its an equalizer, to keep things in balance, checking everyone, and giving one what they deserve, this is very important because imagine if good deeds arent rewarded, and bad people are not punished, the universe will be in chaos
misfortune is oppportunity for growth and change. LIke losing your job, like breaking up in a relationship, like losing something you really loved. Life it there to teach you soemthing or steer you in a differnt direction. LIke for me I got a flat tire only to realize that all my tires were bald and i needed new tires. If i had been on the freeway and the tire blew I could have killled myself or soemone. Same with my job. They moved me to a dangerous department and I quite. I make more money now and I do less stressful work at my new job. See Misfortune has its good points.
